I am writing this from Seattle, where it snowed in March.
There is something I want to share before I get into what Ambassador is building — and I will warn you upfront, some of you are going to think this is a bit out there. Stay with me.
I have been spending time with people who take the Japanese zodiac seriously. And a lot of serious people in business, in finance, and in circles most of us run in pay close attention to it. So here is what I want you to know about 2026.
Last year was the Year of the Snake. The snake does not fight what it has outgrown. It sheds its skin completely — leaves the whole thing behind and comes out the other side as something new.
That is a pretty accurate description of what we did at Ambassador in 2025. We shed an enormous amount. The platform, the brand, the story — rebuilt from the inside out.
And now we are in the Year of the Fire Horse. This is not just any horse year. Horse years come around every twelve years. But the Fire Horse only happens every sixty years. The last one was 1966. The next one after this will not come until 2086. The Fire Horse represents action, speed, independence, and rapid bold growth. It is considered one of the most powerful and high-energy years in the entire sixty-year cycle.
"The snake shed its skin in 2025. Now the horse runs."
I am not telling you we built our company strategy around the zodiac. I am telling you that when the world around you is moving at Fire Horse speed, you had better have something worth running with. We do. Here is what it is.
The wall every enterprise is hitting right now
Every company in the world is trying to deploy AI. And they are all running into the same problem.
The models are good. The agents are coming. OpenAI, Salesforce, Google, Microsoft — everyone is building them. But here is what none of them solve: agents are horizontal. They do not know your customers. They have no idea what happened after the sale — who advocated, who churned, who upgraded, who referred, who came back. That outcome-level intelligence does not exist anywhere in a structured, longitudinal form.
That gap — between what AI can do and what it actually knows about your specific customers — is where Ambassador lives.
We are building the context layer for the AI era. The closed-loop intelligence system that captures what actually happens with customers, and makes every AI decision a brand makes smarter because of it. The more data flows through the system, the smarter it gets, and the harder it becomes for anyone to replicate.
Bloomberg built a hundred billion dollar business on financial data context. Stripe built sixty-five billion on payment context. We are building the equivalent for customer outcomes.
The Jerry Maguire moment
You know the scene. It is 3am. Jerry cannot sleep. He starts writing his mission statement. Completely honest, completely bold, says everything he actually believes about his industry. Everyone loves him for about a day. Then it costs him everything. Then it becomes the thing that defines him.
I wrote one of those.
It is called the Ambassador white paper. It goes deep on where enterprise AI is actually heading — the three waves, the Asymmetry moat, the five-year arc from platform to infrastructure, and why the companies that win the next decade are the ones that control the context layer. It will change how you think about what AI means for your business.
It is attached to this post. Read it.

The horse is running
2025 was the year we shed the skin. We rebuilt the platform — eight engines, a closed feedback loop, Hiro AI on top of all of it. We rebuilt the brand. We rebuilt the story. It was necessary. It was enormous. And it is done.
2026 is the year we move. The Fire Horse does not reflect on what it left behind. It runs toward what it is building.
The white paper is below. The video is above. If you want to talk about any of it — about the platform, about what this means for your business, about where AI is actually going — we are easy to find.
